Terms of service
1. Agreement to Terms By booking services from Pop and Bloom Co ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not access our services.
2. The "Float & Pop" Policy (Nature of Goods)
Fragility: You acknowledge that balloons are non-permanent and fragile by nature. While we use professional-grade balloons (e.g., Tuftex, Kalisan, Qualatex), some may pop or deflate sooner than anticipated. Pop and Bloom Co is not responsible for the lifespan of balloons once they have been delivered or picked up.
Temperature Sensitivity:
Heat: Heat causes helium/air to expand, which may cause balloons to pop. We recommend keeping balloons in a cool, climate-controlled environment.
Cold: Cold causes helium/air to shrink, making balloons look deflated. They will usually re-inflate when brought back to room temperature.
Oxidation: For outdoor events or warm indoor environments, latex balloons will oxidize (develop a matte/velvety finish) over time. This is a natural process and not a defect.
Outdoor Events: We cannot guarantee the longevity of balloons placed outdoors due to wind, sun, rain, and static. We do not offer refunds for outdoor balloon decor that pops or deflates due to weather conditions.
3. Booking and Cancellations
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your date.
Final Payment: Remaining balances are due 3 days prior to the event.
Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 2 days before the event will forfeit the full payment to cover the cost of materials already purchased.
Rescheduling: We will make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests if made at least 5 days in advance, subject to our availability.
4. Rental Equipment (Stands, Hoops, Backdrops)
Ownership: All hard props remain the sole property of Pop and Bloom Co. They are rentals only.
Return/Pickup: All rental equipment will be picked up by our team at the agreed-upon time.
Damage/Loss: The client is responsible for the equipment while it is in their possession. If equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen, the client agrees to be charged the full replacement cost of the item(s).
5. Safety and Liability
Choking Hazard: Children under 8 years can choke or suffocate on uninflated or broken balloons. Adult supervision is required at all times. Pop and Bloom Co is not liable for any injury resulting from unsupervised play.
Allergies: Our products usually contain natural rubber latex. It is the Client's responsibility to inform guests of this risk.
Inhalation: Inhaling helium can be dangerous. Pop and Bloom Co strictly advises against inhaling helium from our products.
Balloon Releases: Pop and Bloom Co strictly prohibits the intentional release of our balloons into the environment (balloon releases) due to environmental harm.
6. Installation and Walls For installations requiring attachment to walls (using Command hooks or gaffer tape), we use professional removal techniques. However, Pop and Bloom Co is not responsible for any paint peeling, residue, or surface damage that occurs during the removal of these attachment points.
7. Photography Pop and Bloom Co reserves the right to photograph our work at your event for marketing and portfolio purposes. We will respect your privacy and not photograph guests without permission.
